Canmore

After a late night trip to pick up the VIPs, I was finally allowed to go to sleep and get ready for the main part of the road trip. Here we are setting off for Tunnel Mountain.

Breakfast was slightly lacking this morning, no blueberry scone 🙁 How is an Olympic athlete meant to prepare for a hike up a mountain without one.

After dragging the oldies up the mountain, and stopping to say hi to everyone it was time to explore Banff itself. Explore when I’m with the chauffeur clearly means find the nearest bar.

With my magnet like qualities I was allowed on the patio (yeah we’re no longer in BC) and I enjoyed my kiddies portion of chicken strips. Richard made the cardinal mistake of thinking that “chips” are actually chips and not “crisps”. But then we also paid from the “checking” account. Simplified English!

I did manage to get the humans to buy some ice cream, salted caramel is my favourite. It was noted that there were three humans and I only had two ice creams 🙁 Here I am having a swim in the river; I’m told these weren’t sewage pipes!

The humans forgot to take me to Canmore Brewing in the evening and all came back drunk 🙁
