So, after a stop in Hope to pay homage to Rambo the chauffeur put me back in the car, poured me a bowl of dog champagne and we set off over the Coquihalla and up through Kamloops to the houseboat capital of Canada.

We stopped for a night at a motel with the friendliest staff yet. They actually made me feel welcome and had put the air conditioning on nice and high so the room was the perfect temperature. They had a huge garden for me to explore.

I managed to explain to the chauffeur that I would look much better on one of these. The greaseball who owned it looked less than impressed when I stuck my nose up his girlfriends skirt, but judging by the size of his stomach I doubt she’s seen much action for a while.

We headed in to Sicamous for a stroll around first thing this morning. I was a little bit disappointed that Blondies didn’t have a blueberry scone for me, but I have got a card to check-in to one in Canmore tomorrow to get a free cookie! As you can see I was not impressed with the local art, but Lake Shuswap was great and Blondies is competition for the Blue Moose in Hope.
Next stop will be Golden – air conditioning is on, iced water in reach. One last thing, I don’t know if the girl in Blondies was simply blonde, or whether Sicamous does translate to “squished in the middle”. She did seem to spend a lot of time with me though – my magnetism is still there even though I’m nearly 10 😉
